Delhi, November 19, 2024:
Chandni Chowk MP, Shri Praveen Khandelwal, today launched a massive campaign to raise public awareness about the failures and inaction of the Delhi government and Aam Aadmi Party’s local MLAs. As part of this campaign, Shri Khandelwal announced his plan to visit every assembly constituency in his parliamentary area to expose the shortcomings of the local legislators.
The campaign commenced today with a grand protest in the Model Town assembly constituency against MLA Shri Akhilesh Tripathi. More than 1,500 BJP workers participated in the protest, chanting slogans like “Bijli pani de na sake jo, woh sarkar nikammi hai” “Delhi ka hua bura haal, kejriwal ka dekho kamal,” and “Vidhayak badlo halat badlo,” resonating throughout the area. The fierce protest, which began at 10:30 AM near Gurudwara Nanak Piao, highlighted public anger towards the MLA’s inaction.
Later in the evening, another massive protest was held in the Haiderpur and Shalimar Bagh areas. Once again, Shri Khandelwal personally led the demonstration, exposing the failures of MLA Smt. Vandana Kumari. Thousands of BJP workers joined the protest, raising slogans and making their discontent known.
On this occasion, Shri Khandelwal stated, “The people of Delhi are struggling for basic amenities like electricity, water, roads, and cleanliness. The Aam Aadmi Party’s government and its MLAs are ignoring the problems of the citizens. It is high time we expose their truth to the public.”
Mr Khandelwal made it clear that this is just the beginning of the campaign, with plans to hold similar protests in every assembly constituency to bring Aam Aadmi Party MLAs’ failures to light.
