The Sacred Bond Between Kanchi and Ayodhya
This Maha Yagya highlights the deep spiritual connection between Kanchi and Ayodhya. According to the Markandeya Purana, King Dasharatha performed a Putra Kameshti Yagya after seeking blessings from Goddess Kamakshi in Kanchi, which resulted in the birth of Lord Sri Rama. Goddess Kamakshi is worshipped as the Kuladevi (family deity) of the Ikshvaku dynasty, which makes this Maha Yagya even more significant.
Spiritual Call
This Yagya is dedicated to seeking the blessings of Lord Rudra and Goddess Chandi to safeguard humanity in the face of growing moral and social challenges in Kali Yuga. Participating in this Maha Yagya offers a unique opportunity to embark on a spiritual journey that contributes to global peace and welfare.
Invitation to Devotee
The organizing committee extends an invitation to everyone to actively participate in this Maha Yagya. Individuals can register for the 14 Daily Homams or the 2 Daily Sahasra Chandi Yagyas, becoming a part of this spiritual movement.
The Sri Maha Narayana Divya Rudra Sahita Shata Sahasra Chandi Vishwa Shanti Maha Yagya is a historic and spiritual festival that will revive the glorious traditions of Sanatana Dharma and pave the way for world peace.
