The Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) anticipates a forward-looking budget for Delhi that will address the aspirations of the people of Delhi and contribute significantly to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision of a Viksit Delhi. A robust and inclusive budget can lay the foundation for comprehensive development, boosting infrastructure, trade, and economic opportunities in the national capital.

CAIT Secretary General & Chandni Chowk MP Shri Praveen Khandelwal said that
“Delhi has immense potential to become a model city for economic and infrastructural development. We expect the budget to focus on better civic amenities, modernized markets, improved logistics, and digitalization of trade, which will be crucial in making Delhi a global business hub,”

Additionally, he expects for budgetary allocations that address urban mobility, pollution control, and smart city initiatives to enhance the overall quality of life for Delhi’s citizens. A pro-growth budget aligned with the Viksit Bharat 2047 mission will pave the way for a self-reliant and prosperous Delhi.

He also said traders of Delhi under the umbrella of CAIT remains committed to working with the government in realizing the vision of Viksit Delhi and looks forward to policies that will foster economic growth and uplift the business community.
