At the “Bihar Vyapari Sammelan” organized by the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) at Lemon Tree Hotel, Patna, CAIT National Secretary General and Member of Parliament from Chandni Chowk, Shri Praveen Khandelwal, said that the forthcoming Bihar Assembly elections will result in a resounding victory for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA).

A unanimous resolution passed at the conference expressed full faith in the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and announced complete support from the trading community of Bihar to the NDA in the upcoming elections. Bihar has over nine lakh business establishments that provide direct employment to nearly 20 lakh people and indirect livelihood to several lakhs more.

The resolution further stated that the trading community will support NDA candidates to advance the agenda of development, stability, and good governance. The conference was attended by over 200 leading trade representatives from all districts of Bihar and was presided over by CAIT Bihar State President Shri Ashok Verma.

Shri Khandelwal said that under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the development-oriented governance of Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar, Bihar has witnessed remarkable progress in recent years. Be it road and bridge construction, power and water supply, digital connectivity, agricultural and industrial expansion, education, or healthcare, the State has undergone an unprecedented transformation.

He added that Prime Minister Modi has placed Bihar at the center of the Central Government’s development agenda. Schemes like PM Awas Yojana, Ujjwala Yojana, PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, Mudra Loans, Digital India, and Start-Up India have benefitted people across every section of society. The combined efforts of the Central and State Governments have transformed Bihar into a State of development and opportunity.

CAIT Bihar State President Shri Ashok Verma said that from a business perspective, the NDA Government has completely transformed the trade environment in Bihar. Earlier, traders faced administrative bottlenecks, corruption, and uncertainty, but today the environment is transparent, stable, and supportive. Initiatives like single-window clearance, industrial policy reforms, GST simplification, and digital transformation of trade infrastructure have taken business confidence to a new level.

Shri Khandelwal further stated that Prime Minister Modi’s call for “Swadeshi” and “Vocal for Local” has become a new inspiration for Bihar’s traders. The business community is now actively promoting local products and indigenous brands, thereby strengthening the economy and contributing to the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat (Self-Reliant India). This is a major step toward building a strong national economy.

He noted that the GST reforms and incentives introduced under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership have enhanced transparency and integrated small traders into the mainstream. The digitalization of trade facilities, simplification of taxation, and expansion of e-governance have strengthened business confidence across the State.

Shri Khandelwal said that the NDA Government has successfully ended the era of mafia rule, red-tapism, and fear and strengthened law and order in the State. Today, traders are investing confidently and playing a key role in job creation. Employment and self-employment opportunities for Bihar’s youth have increased significantly, bringing strong improvement in the State’s economic condition.

Shri Verma added that the pace of development achieved under the NDA Government over the past decade is unprecedented in Bihar’s history. Today’s Bihar, with new industries, emerging enterprises, and modern market infrastructure, is playing an important role in India’s overall growth story.

Shri Khandelwal expressed confidence that the trading community and the people of Bihar will vote decisively in favour of the NDA to carry forward the agenda of development, good governance, and self-reliance. The people of Bihar know that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar, the State’s growth and future are secure and progressive.

He concluded by saying that this election is not merely political but a contest between development and disorder. The trading community of Bihar has resolved to stand firmly with the NDA for the creation of a new, progressive, and self-reliant Bihar under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
