Deep Dives into Retail & Trade Dynamics

The Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT), along with its Research & Trade Development Society (CRTDS), primarily focuses on promoting the interests of traders and addressing key issues in the Indian retail and trade sectors. Their research and initiatives span a variety of domains that aim to enhance the welfare of traders, improve trade policies, and drive economic growth. The research areas of CAIT’s Research & Trade Development Society typically include the following:

Research Paper on New Terms of Policy of WhatsApp invading privacy of users

Through the new Whatsap privacy policy all kinds of personal data, payment transactions,

contacts, location & other vital information of a person who is using WhatsApp will be

acquired by it and can be used for any purpose by WhatsApp. The unwarranted policy

which will be implemented from next month will encroach on Right of individuality and

privacy of a larger population of the Country hence the Government should immediately

restrict WhatsApp from implementing the new policy and impose a ban on WhatsApp and

its parent Company Facebook. Obtaining vital data by WhatsApp and its parent Company

Facebook can pose serious threat to not only the trade & economy but even to the security

of the Country.

It reminds us the days of East India Company who entered India to trade salt only and

invades the Country but at this time it is the data which is very crucial to wreck the bone of

economy, social structure etc. The Facebook- WhatsApp combine has shown their true

Colors by first facilitating the Indians to use Facebook & WhatsApp without any charge but

now seeking access to data, its ultimate object seems to control trade & economy of India

beside other hidden agenda.
