National Conference of Trade Leaders discuss trade boycott of Turkey and Azerbaijan.
In a decisive move, over 125 trade leaders from 24 states today resolved to end all trade and tourism engagement with Turkey and Azerbaijan at the National Trade Leaders’ Conference organised by CAIT in New Delhi. This decision comes in light of both nations extending support to Pakistan while India launched #OperationSindoor. National Strategic Advisor of CAIT, Smt. Smriti Irani Ji, extended full support to the resolution, calling it a tribute to the courage of India’s armed forces. In an emotional appeal, she urged traders across the country to voluntarily contribute to the National Defence Fund. CAIT Secretary General & MP, Shri Praveen Khandelwal MP, said: “When any country challenges India’s integrity by siding with those who support terrorism, we respond with our strongest peaceful weapon — economic disengagement.
