Expressing deep concern and anguish over the blast incident that occurred yesterday in the Chandni Chowk area, BJP Member of Parliament Shri Praveen Khandelwal termed the act as highly condemnable and unacceptable. He said such incidents are attempts to disturb the peace, harmony, and security of Delhi, and they will not be allowed to succeed under any circumstances.

Shri Khandelwal said that Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah is personally monitoring the situation, and the culprits will face the strictest possible punishment.

Today, Shri Khandelwal visited LNJP Hospital to meet the injured and inquired about their health. He assured them of complete government support and care. The injured victims expressed satisfaction, stating that the hospital doctors were providing excellent treatment and that adequate arrangements had been made not only for the injured but also for their family members.

Shri Khandelwal said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the Central Government and the Ministry of Home Affairs are fully committed to ensuring the safety and security of the nation. He added that Delhi Police and investigation agencies are conducting a swift and thorough inquiry into the incident to identify and bring the perpetrators to justice at the earliest.

He emphasized that Chandni Chowk is a symbol of India’s cultural and economic heritage, and the safety of its citizens and traders is the top priority. Shri Khandelwal assured that security arrangements in the entire area will be further strengthened and that efforts are being made to restore an atmosphere of confidence and peace among the public.

Expressing condolences for those who lost their lives and wishing speedy recovery to the injured, Shri Khandelwal reiterated that the government stands firmly with the victims and will extend all possible assistance.

He appealed to residents of the area to maintain calm and not pay heed to any rumors, urging everyone to remain united and cooperate with the administration so that the culprits can be swiftly brought to justice.
